Job description
- Create aluminium profiles, hardware & accessories, and system assemblies
- Prepare system manuals, technical documentation, and standard drawings
- Coordinate and perform engineering analysis (wind load, structural integrity, thermal and acoustic performance, air/water tightness)
- Coordinate with extrusion, die development, testing labs, and production teams
- Manage prototype development, mock-ups, and system validation testing
- Ensure compliance with international standards (EN, ASTM) and local authority regulations
- Conduct value engineering and cost optimization while maintaining performance and quality
- Support project teams with technical guidance and system implementation
- Troubleshoot and resolve design, fabrication, and site-related technical issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Civil, or Architectural Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience in façade system design, product development and system standardization
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of BIM tools (Revit) is an advantage
- Proven experience in aluminium and glazing system development with system houses or façade product manufacturers
- Familiarity with UAE/GCC building codes and authority requirements and knowledge in fabrication, and installation processes etc
